Michael and Lynette Newton, Fargo, are the parents of a son, Tanner Jackson, born May 12, 2011, at Essentia Health at 12:46 p.m. He weighed 8 pounds 3.9 ounces and measured 21 ¾ inches long. He joins a brother, George, and a sister, Lexis. Grandparents are Edna Hansegard, Fargo, Steve Newton, Washington state, and Susan Mozes, Vienna, Austria.

Ashley Held and Kevin McLean, West Fargo, are the parents of a son, Carter Alan McLean, born May 18, 2011, at 12:23 p.m., at Essentia Health. He weighed 8 pounds 5 ounces and was 21 ½ inches long. Grandparents are Dale and Carol Held, Hankinson, N.D., and Sharon and Mark McLean, West Fargo. Great-grandparents are Sharon Held and Allen Coppin, both of Hankinson.

Jack and Rachel Dwyer, Horace, are the parents of a daughter, Dahlia Beth, born May 13, 2011, at 2:42 a.m., at Sanford Medical Center. She weighed 10 pounds and was 21 inches long.
