Thursday’s game saw a huge performance from senior forward Kelly Krahn, who scored two goals -- both of them in the first period -- and tallied three assists.

Two of those assists came off of scores from freshman forward Janey Sandoval, who scored three goals. She also had one assist. She is currently second in the state in scoring with 43 points on the season.

Eighth-grade defenseman Courtney Walsh had three assists in the game, and junior forward Madison Nelson had a goal and an assist.

Krahn scored the only goal of the game for the Pack on Thursday, coming 12 minutes into the first period to bring the score to 2-1. However, the Warriors did not let up, scoring one more in the first period and two more in the second for the big win.

Junior goalie Morgan Stirling ended the game with 28 saves. She is currently fourth in the state with a goals against average of 1.27.

The 12-5-1 Packers (10-2-1 in the state) head to Minot on Friday for a 5 p.m. game. They then go to Williston on Saturday for a 2 p.m. game at the Agri Sports Complex.
