Packers run over Dickinson

The West Fargo girls' hockey team had its second game of the season on Friday night, and earned its second blowout victory, topping Dickinson 14-0.

The team was led by senior forward Hayley Walsh, who netted four goals - one of them short-handed - and one assist.

Senior forward Chelsea Wangen was right behind Walsh, scoring three goals of her own and one assist.

The rest of the Packers' goals came from Kelly Krahn and Paige Lazorenko - who scored two goals each. Maddy Nelson, Torri Holland and Allison Springer each scored one.

For the second game in a row, starting goalie Andrea Klug faced just three shots in two periods of play, stopping all three.

The Packers will head to Bismarck on Friday to face the Demons. The puck drops at 7 p.m.
