Packers take sixth at Rose Creek
The West Fargo golf team saw a slight improvement last week at Rose Creek Golf Course, as they finished sixth out of eight teams, with a score of 369.
"We played better as a team," head coach Dan Wolf. "We were only a handful of strokes away from fourth place, even though we took sixth."
Senior Ashley Bixby tied for first with Davies' Jennifer Marsh, finishing her day with a score of 74.
Junior Kennedy Kraft followed Bixby with score of 95, which was her second-best total of the season. Ashley Peterson was close behind with a 98, marking her first sub-100 score of the year.
Senior Brittany Rheault and junior Sierra Peterson both scored a 102 on the day.
The girls are at King's Walk today for the Grand Forks Invitational. On Monday, they will host the West Fargo Invitational at Village Green Golf Course in Moorhead.
