Pancake feed to aid Cystic Fibrosis fight
A Pancake Feed to help fight Cystic Fibrosis will take place Saturday, Dec. 11, from 8 to 10 a.m., at Applebee's, 4900 13th Ave. S.W., Fargo, south of Wal-Mart/Sam's Club.
Applebee's will provide and prepare the food, while local families of people affected by Cystic Fibrosis will serve.
Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disease that affects the lungs and the digestive system. Advances in medicine have increased the median life expectancy from early childhood in the 1960s, to the early thirties today. The CF Foundation is focused on medical research to identify a cure and to improve the quality of life.
Everyone is invited to enjoy the breakfast. Tickets will be available at the door at a cost of $5 each.
