Pancake Feed to help fight Cystic Fibrosis at Applebee's location
A special pancake breakfast will be served on Saturday, Dec. 19, from 8 to 10 a.m., at Applebee's, 4900 13th Ave. S.W., Fargo, south of Wal-Mart/Sam's Club, with proceeds to help in the fight against Cystic Fibrosis.
Applebee's will provide and prepare the food, while the local families of people affected by Cystic Fibrosis will do the serving.
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disease that affects the lungs and the digestive system. Advances in medicine have increased the median life expectancy from early childhood in the 1960s, to the early thirties today. The CF Foundation is focused on medical research to identify a cure and to improve the quality of life.
Everyone is invited to enjoy the breakfast. Tickets will be available at the door at a cost of $5 each. The event is sponsored by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Minnesota Dakotas Chapter. For more info visit: http://www.cff.org/Chapters/minnesota/ or call 277-0303.
