West Fargo High School will be holding the third parent-teacher conference of the school year on Thursday, March 3, from 4:15 to 8 p.m., while Cheney Middle School will be hosting conferences on Thursday, March 3, and Tuesday, March 8, from 5 to 8:45 p.m.
Individual conferences will not be not scheduled at specific times at the high school for parents of students. Instead, they are asked to attend at their convenience during the time block. The process will begin by picking up student schedules in the hallway next to the administrative office and then visiting classroom teachers in the gymnasium.
At the Cheney Middle School, those attending are asked to go directly to the teacher's locations. There will be no report cards or schedules to pick up, parents will just need to know their student's schedule.
Parents of students whose last name begins with the letters A through K are encouraged to attend Middle School conferences on Thursday, March 3, while the parents of students whose last name begins with the letters L through Z are asked to attend conferences on Tuesday, March 8. This will help with parking and ought to help alleviate standing in line. Parking will be allowed in both the East (bus loading area) parking lot as well as the main parking lot on the Northwest side of the school.
Parent-teacher conferences encourage positive communication between home and school by working together to contribute to the success of the students. Therefore, parents are asked to take time from their busy schedule to attend the respective conferences.
