Park District Dog Show, Dog Swim

The Fifth Annual West Fargo Parks Dog Show is set for Thursday, Aug. 16 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at North Elmwood Park Shelter, 500 13th Ave. W.

Everyone is encouraged to enter their dog in the show. Dogs will be judged and awards presented to the best groomed, best dressed, best trick, most unusual breed, cutest puppy, owner/dog look-alike, and best of show. Visit with area pet vendors and register for great door prizes.  Free hotdogs and a beverage will be served while supplies last.

Dog Show registration will be held at 5:30 p.m. The Agility Demonstration will be at 6 p.m. and the Dog Show will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Registration is free. Forms are available at the West Fargo Park District office, 500 13th Ave W or online at wfparks.org. 

The park district will also be hosting a Dog Swim on Aug. 15, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Pool, 131 6th Ave. E. in West Fargo. Dogs must have all shots up-to-date. This is a free activity with no registration fee.
