The West Fargo Police Department is accepting applications for the spring session of the Citizens Police Academy which will begin on Thursday, Feb. 24, at 7 p.m., and continue weekly through May 12.
The program is designed to increase the understanding between the West Fargo Police Department and the citizens served. Topics will include: drug enforcement, SWAT, traffic stops, firearms, registered offenders, ride alongs, and much more.
The academy is free to participants, who must be at least 20 years of age. Applications are available on the police department website at: www.westfargopolice.com and also at the West Fargo Police Department, located at 800 4th Ave. E.
