The West Fargo Patriots claimed three of the five games they have played since Thursday.

The team started with two wins against the Williston Keybirds on Thursday by scores of 1-0 and 5-0.

The team then lost to Eden Prairie, Minn., 9-3 on Saturday before splitting a doubleheader with Excelsior in Minnetonka Minn., on Sunday, winning the first game 4-1 and losing 8-4 in the second.

The week's highlight came in the first game against Williston in Elmwood Park, where pitcher Landon Uetz threw eight scoreless innings, even continuing to pitch after taking a line drive off his leg.

Shortstop Andy Young drove in the only run of that game with a walk-off line drive.

The 28-15 Patriots are now in their last week of the regular season. They host Wahpeton tonight for a doubleheader, then head to Grand Forks for a single game tomorrow evening. They will then face Mandan at home on Friday for their final two games.
