"These special events are focused towards our little exhibitors," said Bryan Schulz, General Manager of the Red River Valley Fair.  "We want kids of all ages to come out and show the fairgoers how creative our youth is."

The Plush Pet Contest is a traditional favorite at the fair and is open to the very young exhibitors. Bring your favorite stuffed animal to be 'shown' to the judges.  The judges will ask questions about your stuffed animal. Each contestant will receive a prize.  The event will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 12 in the Rabbit Barn.

The Rubber Ducky Races are available for people of all ages to enter this fun contest.  Race starts at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 14 in the Poultry (Foltz) Building.  One rubber duck per exhibitor.  Prizes will be awarded. There is no entry fee.
