Premiere Video in West Fargo robbed at gunpoint

The West Fargo Police Department is searching for a suspect who robbed a video store at gunpoint Thursday night.

The robbery was reported at 11:18 p.m. at Premiere Video, 1115 9th St. E.

The suspect entered the store carrying a long gun believed to be a rifle, pointed it at the clerk and demanded money, police stated in a news release. About $200 was stolen.

No shots were fired, and no one was injured.

Authorities set up a perimeter around the store and used a K-9 unit from the Clay County Sheriff's Office but were unable to find the suspect.

The suspect is described as a younger white male about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a slim build, wearing a black bandana, sunglasses, a hat, blue jeans and a black sweatshirt.

Fargo police, Cass County sheriff's deputies and the North Dakota Highway Patrol also assisted at the scene.
