Puppe files candidate forms for House seat
Fargo business owner and former legislative legal aide Mark Puppe has filed the necessary forms as a candidate for the North Dakota House on the June 12 primary ballot. He is an endorsed Republican candidate for the newly created District 16 in south Fargo and West Fargo.
"District 16 is new and its voters deserve my established legislative experience, achievements and comprehensive understanding of the process," Puppe said. "They will be disadvantaged by a representative whose only legislative experience comes after the session starts."
A philosophy of limited government and trusting people more than policy will be criteria for his votes as a citizen legislator, Puppe said. Education, tax relief, energy and sound and fair flood protection are issues he will tackle.
