"The Red River Valley Fair can take great pride in knowing that our event has been selected for this prestigious honor,' said Board President Bill Hoffmann.

There were a total of 43 award categories, each divided into five divisions by attendance, that a Fair or Expo can enter.  The entries were evaluated and judged by a team of industry leaders, selected from the membership of International Association of Fairs and Expositions, which has over 3,000 members from around the globe.

The agricultural fair and expo industry is not only very important to rural and urban economies globally, but is also steeped in tradition and has a tremendously positive impact on the social well-being of the rural and urban society.

The Red River Valley Fair is scheduled for July 8-16, 2011, in West Fargo.
