Red River Valley Fair receives International Recognition

The Red River Valley Fair Association received four first place awards, three second place awards, and two third place awards in the Agricultural of Excellence Division from the International Association of Fairs and Expositions (IAFE) headquartered in Springfield, Mo. Awards were presented during the Agricultural Awards Breakfast on Dec. 10, during the Annual IAFE Convention held in Las Vegas, Nevada.

There were a total of 15 Agriculture Award categories, each divided into 5 divisions by attendance, that a Fair or Expo could enter. The entries were evaluated and judged by a team of industry leaders, selected from the membership of International Association of Fairs and Expositions, which has over 3000 members from around the globe.

The Red River Valley Fair also won four first place awards in the Communications Division and three second place awards. There were 18 Communications categories, each divided into 5 divisions. The Communications awards were presented during the Communications Reception on Dec. 11.

Red River Valley Fair officials take great pride in knowing their event has been selected for this prestigious honor. The Agriculture awards were sponsored by John Deere, an avid supporter of the Fair and Expo Industry around the world. The Communications awards were sponsored by K & K Insurance.
