Sanders, Democratic stars make pitch for Clinton after messy first day

Registration opens for Musical Theatre Camp

Registration is now open for the Middle School Musical Theatre Camp, the newest addition to the West Fargo Summer Arts Intensive program.

The arts experience is open to students who will have completed grades five through eight during the current school year. Participation is not exclusive to West Fargo residents.

The program will be held June 9 through July 3 and will wrap up with four performances of “Once on this Island Jr.” The program was formerly known as the Horizon Middle School/HMS Flagship camp.

Students will study acting, dance, voice and more, as well as help craft scenery, costumes and props to be used in this musical loosely based on Hans Christian Andersen’s, The Little Mermaid. Registration is based on a first-come-first-serve basis and is limited to the first 60 students. Everyone will be cast as a singer, dancer and/or actor.

Led by local arts educators and professionals committed to focused, individualized training, Summer Arts Intensive is now in its fourth year and is made possible through collaboration with West Fargo High School Theatre and West Fargo Public Schools.
