The West Fargo Park District is hosting a Bike and Kite Day on Sunday, May 15, from 2 to 4 p.m., at Rendezvous Park, 1055 32nd Ave W., West Fargo. Activities will include kite flying, a Bike Rodeo, demos by KotiKites, Child ID cards and free refreshments. Free kites will be given out to the first 50 kid's compliments of Luther Family Ford.
The West Fargo Police Department will be sponsoring a Bike Rodeo where youth can learn how to ride their bikes safely and practice using hand signals. New York Life will be printing Child I.D. cards for each parent or guardian free of charge. Child I.D. cards will feature a child's photo, fingerprints, contact information and other pertinent information needed by the police in case of an emergency. KotiKites will also be onsite flying many of their fun and colorful kites.
Take your bike and a kite to fly and enjoy an afternoon of fun. Parents are encouraged to attend to assist youth with kite flying.
