Rose Richardson, 83, Fargo, N.D., died peacefully in her home on Friday, September 25, 2009.
Rose S. Sprenger was born February 10, 1926 in Roseglen, N.D., where she was raised and attended school. She moved to Fargo and worked at Holsum Bakery, where she met Donald L. Richardson. They were married February 22, 1947 in Fargo, where they made their home. Mr. Richardson died in November of 1993.
Rose was a life member and past president of the Fargo VFW Auxiliary and a life member of the Fargo Amvets Auxiliary.
She is survived by three sons, David (Mary Jean) and Kim (Joyce), both Pelican Rapids, Minn., Terry (Linda) Fargo; one daughter, Deborah (Larry) Williams, Fargo, 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; one brother, Art Sprenger, Roseglen, N.D. and one sister, Othelia Hersrud, Fargo. She was preceded in death by her parents and ten siblings.
A visitation was held Tuesday, September 29, 2009 from 5 to 7 p.m. in West Funeral Chapel, West Fargo.
A memorial service was held Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at 11 a.m. in West Funeral Chapel, West Fargo, with visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. Burial was at Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.
