Schmidt benefit dinner set for Nov. 28

A benefit dinner for Christoph Schmidt will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 127 2nd Ave. E., West Fargo, on Sunday, Nov. 28, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Christoph was first diagnosed with thyroid cancer four years ago. He now needs his fourth surgery in as many years. He has had lengthy radiation treatments and suffers from loss of strength in his right arm that will require extended physical therapy.

This benefit potato bar dinner is partially funded by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, and funds will go to help Christoph with medical expenses. Donations can be made out to the Christoph Schmidt Benefit at State Bank & Trust or at the dinner on Nov. 28. Contact Denise Peterson at for more information or to make a contribution.
