Schmidts to host German tour
Join Pastor Peter and Vicki Schmidt on an adventure of a lifetime as they host a tour to see the world renowned Passion Play in Oberammergau, Germany, September 13-23, 2010. This passion play has been produced every ten years since the 17th century as a thanksgiving to God for sparing their village from a great plague that swept Europe. People travel from all over the world to witness this six-hour play, which is set in the beauty of the Alps. Music and drama combine to create a most moving story of the passion of Christ.
In addition to the play, the group will visit other spectacular sites in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Travelers will also have the option of adding on five days in Italy.
An information night will be held Wednesday, July 22, at 7 p.m., in the Worship Center at Faith Lutheran Church, 127 2nd Ave. E., West Fargo, led by the Schmidts and Karen Morlock of Bursch Travel, tour arrangers.
