School board accepts bid for security upgrades
The West Fargo School Board unanimously approved a bid from Dakota Electric Construction of Fargo for security upgrades in district schools, costing $142,700.
According to business manager Mark Lemer, these improvements make up the first phase in a process to bring all district buildings to “a minimum standard for building access.”
The upgrade will allow office staff to control access into the 10 schools in the district that do not already have a similar feature.
