Schumacher joins Alerus Financial as specialist

Donovan Schumacher has joined Alerus Financial as a mortgage specialist at Alerus' downtown Fargo office at 15 Broadway.

Schumacher is responsible for generating new mortgage business opportunities. He serves as the primary contact for new or existing mortgage customers and provides them with in-depth knowledge of mortgage lending and real estate products.

Schumacher joins Alerus with more than 11 years of mortgage experience within the Fargo-Moorhead community. He attended NDSU and received an associate's degree in marketing from NDSCS. Schumacher is a member of the Fargo Moorhead Area Association of Realtors, Chamber, and Knights of Columbus. He and his wife, Mandy, live in Barnesville, Minn. with their three children.
