"This year's Senior Day is packed with activities and entertainment not only the seniors will love, but the young families of the FM area will as well," said General Manager Bryan Schulz.

There will be free gate admission from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Coffee and cookies, donated by Hornbacher's, will be available in the Morton Building starting at 11 a.m. until they are gone. The tasting bee will begin at noon in the Arts & Crafts Building.

Bingo is presented by last year's contenders, the West Fargo VFW. Two bingo sessions will be held, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. in the Morton Building. Cost will be 25 cents per card, with the prizes donated by local restaurants and Red River Valley Fair vendors.

Albert Mikesh will perform from 1 to 3 p.m., followed by the Grandparent Essay Reading at 3:30 pm. Elementary students in grades one through four were eligible to write one-page essays explaining why their grandparents are great. The Northwest Martial Arts group will take the stage at 5 p.m. Banjo performer John Peterson will close out the evening.
