Shockley named shareholder at Ohnstad Twichell
John T. Shockley has been named a Shareholder with Ohnstad Twichell Law Firm shareholder as of Jan. 1, 2010. Shockley has been an attorney with Ohnstad Twichell for four years and practices out of the firm's West Fargo office, primarily in municipal law and bonding law. He is licensed in both North Dakota and Minnesota.
Shockley attended the University of North Dakota, and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2002, majoring in political science and minoring in history. While attending UND, he was selected as an intern for the Grand Forks/East Grand Forks Municipal Planning Organization.
In 2002 Shockley and his wife moved to New Orleans, La., where he attended Tulane Law School, graduating in 2005. While in law school, he was a managing editor of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal, an internationally recognized publication, and was an active member in numerous organizations including the Public Law Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing legal services to all individuals. During law school, Shockley worked for the Federal Public Defender for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
He currently resides in Mapleton.
