Skating with Santa at Vets park

The West Fargo Park District will be hosting "Skating with Santa" on Sunday, Dec. 20, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., at the Veterans Memorial Arena, 1201 7th Ave. E., West Fargo.

Skate to holiday music while visiting with Santa. Hot chocolate and refreshments will be served. This is a free event open to the public. A canned food item for the Fargo-Moorhead Food Pantry will be your ticket to get in.

Outdoor pleasure skating and hockey rinks at Elmwood and Tintes Parks are also now open. Hours are 4 to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, and 12 to 8 p.m., Sunday.
