Suspect developed in juvenile female assault case

The West Fargo Police Department has developed a suspect and are awaiting forensic evidence regarding the gross sexual imposition of a West Fargo female juvenile that occurred in December. The name of the 22-year-old male is not being released at this time.

According to the release issued by West Fargo Police Detective Tim Runcorn, the suspect and victim are believed to have met on the internet, which led to texting and phone calls. The suspect was then given the location of the victims residence where the assault occurred.

The West Fargo Police Department considers this an isolated incident and doesn't have any concerns for public safety.
