Swim team tops Bruins
While I am not one for making puns, I have to say that the Packers swim team blew the Bruins out of the water, beating them 130-56 in Thursday's home meet.
The Packers took 10 of the 12 events of the night, losing only the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke.
Junior Danica Dutt was victorious in three events, taking first in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly, as well as being a part of the 200 medley relay team that finished in just over two minutes.
Freshman Emily Bourassa also won three events; the 500 freestyle along with being a member of the 200 and 400 freestyle relay. Freshman Hallie Peterson was also a part of those two relays and also won the 200 freestyle.
The Packers will head to Fargo Davies on Friday for a weekend invitational.
