The Packers finished the tournament with nine points, which was good enough for sixth place.

The highlight for the Packers came from eighth-grader North Knewtson, who finished third in his flight, beating Andrew Thompson of Grand Forks Central (6-4, 6-4) in the third place match.

The tournament victory went to the Grand Forks- Red River Roughrider, who scored 35 points as a team.

Before hosting Saturday's tournament, the Packers played host to both Bismarck and Minot on Friday afternoon, losing both meets by the same score, 3-2.

In their match against Bismarck, the Packers' victories came from sophomore Brady Ballweber and junior Devon Wangen, both of whom won their matches in straight sets.

Ballweber also won his match against Minot, with sophomore Keyan Farahmand picking up the other point for West Fargo.

The Packers, who are currently fifth in the conference, will host Fargo Davies tomorrow for a 4 p.m. meet.
