Totally Trollwood to perform original musical review

Totally Trollwood, a program for students in grades 6-8, will present "A New Home Companion," today (Thursday, July 30) at 2:30 p.m., at Trollwood Performing Arts School's new IMAGINE Theatre, located at 801 50th Ave. S.W., Moorhead. The free matinee performance is open to the public.

"A New Home Companion" will also be presented as preshow entertainment before the performances of Trollwood's Mainstage musical, "The Wiz," on Friday, July 31, and Saturday, August 1, beginning at 7:45 p.m.

Directed by Adam Pankow, this year's Totally Trollwood production is a spin-off inspired by Garrison Keillor's popular radio show "Prairie Home Companion," featuring musical arrangements by local musicians The Johnson Family Band. Emphasizing the importance of home and community, the musical review incorporates singing, dancing, and poetry, along with a radio mystery segment.

Totally Trollwood is a program through the Trollwood Performing Arts School in cooperation with the Fargo Public Schools. The West Fargo School District offers partial tuition fee waivers for qualifying West Fargo students. For more information, go to
