The school district here named Assistant Principal Kristi Toy as principal of the Osgood Kindergarten Center.
Toy started her career in 1995 as a classroom teacher.
In 2009, she accepted the position of reading specialist for West Fargo Public Schools. She also served as the Title I/reading coordinator in the district for two years before stepping into an elementary assistant principal position for both L.E. Berger and Eastwood Elementary Schools.
“Mrs. Toy has done an outstanding job in every role she has had in our school district, and she is well prepared to lead the Osgood Kindergarten Center staff,” Superintendent David Flowers said.
Toy has a master’s degree in reading leadership from the University of Sioux Falls in South Dakota and a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Valley City (N.D.) State University.
She holds Title I, reading and math coordinator credentials, as well as an elementary principal credential.
