The Packers' track teams were able to compete in their first outdoor meet of the season on Friday in Hopkins, Minn., where both the boys' (score of 827) and girls' (826.5) teams placed fourth out of five and six teams, respectively.
The girls' team ended up with eight first-place finishes in the meet, three of which came from junior Amanda Levin.
"I thought our kids came out and competed very well against the strong competition," head coach Darin McKinnon said. "It felt really good to get outside and have a meet rather than being stuck indoors.
The team will be hosting the Packer Relays on Friday at 2 p.m.
