Trygstad places three times in international wedding photojournalism contest
Britta Trygstad, associate photographer at Milestones Photography in West Fargo, won three placements in the Wedding Photojournalist Association's (WPJA) Quarter 2 contest: 3rd place in Humor, 8th place in Creative Portrait and 16th place in Kids (Being Kids).
This contest judges the photographs based on originality, creativity, technical skills and the best artistic enhancements of wedding images. Images are submitted from journalists in nearly 60 countries around the world.
The Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) is an international, membership-based organization. It represents professional photographers skilled in the documentation of weddings and events in a candid, unobtrusive style. The WPJA was founded to uphold excellence in the area of wedding photojournalism.
Milestones Photography has been a member of the WPJA for four years and has been honored for outstanding artistry many times.
Trygstad grew up near Erhard, Minn., and graduated from Pelican Rapids (Minn.) High School. She holds a degree in mass communications from Minnesota State University Moorhead and has a background in news photography and wedding photojournalism. She lives in Moorhead with her husband.
