Trygstad takes top honors in bridal party category
Britta Trygstad of Milestones Photography in West Fargo has won first and second place in respective categories of the BRIDES Magazine/Wedding Photojournalist Association 2009 Photo Contest.
Her first place photo was one of only 10 published in the Nov/Dec issue of BRIDES Magazine, which is currently on sale. Trygstad earned first in the bridal party category with a humorous photograph of a groom and his ushers attempting to scale a monument to prepare for a posed photograph. Her second place finish was in the bride category, a dramatic black-and-white image of a bride celebrating with sparklers.
The top ten images from each contest category received recognition at www.wpja.com and at www.BRIDES.com. The hard copy of BRIDES Magazine has exclusively highlighted the first place winners in 10 categories. This competition was the product of a team effort by BRIDES Magazine of Conde Nast Publications and the Wedding Photojournalist Association.
