West Fargo was leading by seven to start both the second and third sets, but the Spartans came back on both situations with their impressive serves.

Through the three sets, North notched 10 aces.

The Packers were led by senior Christina Bruenjes, who had seven kills and three blocks. Junior Shelby Gustafson chipped in with six kills and Amanda Levin had four kills and 10 digs. Courtney Suppa had five kills and three aces.

Senior Andrea Klug managed 21 assists for West Fargo.

The Packers now have an overall record of 16-12 and 9-5 in the Eastern Dakota Conference, which is good enough for fifth in the conference. They are four games behind the first-place team, the Fargo Shanley Deacons.

They have just three regular season matches left to improve their ranking, and that starts tomorrow night when they host the Fargo Davies Eagles at 7 p.m. On Tuesday, they will travel to Grand Forks-Red River to take on the Roughriders, also at 7 p.m.
