Volleyball wins two matches

Senior setter Andrea Klug had 40 assists, and the Packers beat the Grand Forks-Red River Roughriders three games to one (25-20, 16-25, 25-11 and 25-20) for their second conference win of the season and their eighth win overall.

The team totaled 45 kills, and juniors Amanda Levin and Courtney Suppa combined for 25 of them, getting 12 and 13, respectively.

Senior Ashley Cambronne also impressed, tallying nine digs and three aces.

In Saturday's match, the Packers took it to Devils Lake, winning in three straight games (25-16, 25-18, 25-15).

Levin led the team with eight kills and six digs in Saturday's match, while Bruenjes added nine kills of her own.

Klug manged 28 assists and three aces.

The packers next match is against Grand Forks-Red River tomorrow night.
