Walk for Autism begins at Aurora Elementary School
The North Dakota Autism Center, Inc. (NDAC) is holding its' Annual Walk for Autism on Saturday, May 15, at Aurora Elementary School and Rendezvous Park at 3420 9th St. W., West Fargo.
The proceeds of this event help fund the "AuSome" Kids Day Program and Early Intervention Program which are designed to help children on the autism spectrum develop communication skills, self-help skills, play skills, group skills, academic skills and everyday functional behavior skills. The early intervention these children need is rarely covered by insurance or state programs. This fundraiser helps the NDAC provide services to children on the autism spectrum who may otherwise go without.
Registration can be completed at ndautismcenter.org. If you would like more information or want to volunteer on the day of the event, call 701-277-8844.
