WARM BANANA DESSERT TOPPING
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 tbsp. shredded coconut
1 medium bananas, sliced
1 tbsp. almonds, sliced (optional)
Melt butter over medium heat in a small pan. Stir in brown sugar and vanilla and cook over medium heat briefly until well blended. Add coconut and bananas and cook an additional 1 - 2 minutes, until bananas are coated. Add sliced almonds and pour over vanilla ice cream. Makes 2 servings.
