The robber did not wear a mask, and police expect to release pictures of him from security video later today, Officer Adam Gustafson said.

A male clerk was alone in the store at 950 13th Ave. E. when the robber walked in at 4:25 a.m., threatened him with a crowbar and demanded money, Gustafson said.

The suspect escaped with an undisclosed amount of money. He dumped the crowbar outside the front door before hopping on a bicycle and riding east on 13th Avenue toward Fargo, Gustafson said, adding police recovered the crowbar.

Fargo police assisted West Fargo police in an unsuccessful search for the suspect.

The clerk wasn't injured in the robbery.

The suspect is described as a Native American male, 15 to 17 years old, wearing a gray, long-sleeve sweater and blue jeans.
