West Fargo fastpitch team captures national title

TOPEKA, Kan. - The West Fargo Knights softball team won the North American Fastpitch Association A Major national championship on Sunday with a 9-2 victory over the Seattle K Club.

West Fargo's Jace Holm was named the tournament's MVP while teammate Jackson Prime, who gave up just seven singles and one walk in the championship game, earned Most Valuable Pitcher honors.

In addition to Holm and Prime, the Knights' Matt Anderson, Matt Johnson and Andrew Potter were named to the all-tournament team. Holm and Potter hit the only home runs of the championship game.
