West Fargo High School band competes in festival

West Fargo High School band students recently participated in the East/State Solo Festival at Valley City State University.

Several earned "Regional Star" ratings including: Catharine Vetter, clarinet; Alyssa Scott, Alicia Schroeder, Allison Teske, Courtney Pederson, Emma Grant and Emily Feist, all flute; Maria Brekkestran, percussion; Logan Reed and Nick Cajobe, both trumpet.

Earning "State Star" ratings were: Evan Thostenson, Wendy Sun, and Briana Hartog, all clarinet; Theresa Schlangen, Samantha Pyle and Alyssa Beckius, all flute; Faye Stromberg, Nate Peterson and Jordan Degerness, all marimba.
