West Fargo Main Avenue opens to traffic
North Dakota Department of Transportation officials announced Monday, Nov. 9, that the majority of work on the West Fargo Main Avenue project had been completed and both east and westbound lanes were open completely to traffic.
Motorists still should use caution in that area as clean up and some final touches like striping, signal work, seeding and bike path installation are being completed.
Crews reconstructed Main Avenue from approximately 5th Street East to the Sheyenne River. This project was the first of a three-phase, seven year plan to reconstruct the Main Avenue corridor in West Fargo.
