Officers were dispatched about 1:20 a.m. to the 1900 block of Sheyenne Street on a report of a domestic dispute involving a man with a gun.

Police arrested Reed Charles Alm of West Fargo without incident on suspicion of aggravated assault.

The resident, Alm's former girlfriend, and another male had left the apartment by the time officers arrived, police said.

The gun wasn't fired but was reportedly pointed in the direction of the victims, police said.

Alm is listed on the apartment's lease but hadn't been living there since January, Sgt. Jerry Boyer said.

Alm was being held Sunday at Cass County Jail. Charges may be pending.
