West Fargo police investigating armed robbery

WEST FARGO - West Fargo police are investigating an armed robbery that was reported early this morning.

According to police:

Officers were dispatched to the Stop-N-Go at 901 Main Avenue East about 2:44 a.m. on a report of an armed robbery.

The store clerk reported that two people entered the store while he was in the back.

He saw one person standing at the far end of the counter and another standing by the counter near the doors and register.

When the clerk walked to the register, the male standing there displayed a gun and demanded money.

Both individuals fled the store with an undetermined amount of money.

A police dog was unable to locate the individuals.

A witness told police two people believed responsible for the robbery were seen running into the Brookwood Mobile Home Park, according to police.
