The AdvancED Accreditation Commission recently granted District Accreditation to West Fargo Public Schools. Now, the district and all of its schools are accredited, and is nationally recognized as a quality school system.

The AdvancED Accreditation Commission confers the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI) accreditation seal.

District Accreditation demonstrates a commitment to excellence, openness to external review and feedback, and a desire to be the best on behalf of the students.

AdvancED is dedicated to advancing excellence in education worldwide. The NCA CASI and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI) are accreditation divisions of AdvancED.

The accreditation process involves three ongoing components: meeting high quality standards, implementing a continuous process of improvement, and engaging in quality assurance through internal and external review. The district's accreditation is for a five-year term, with regular monitoring of progress and reporting occurring during the term.

Parents and interested community members can learn more about the District Accreditation Process at www.advanc-ed.org.
