"Denny's Bucks for Bags" program allocated donations to 31 local organizations for helping fight this year's flood. For working a combined 196 hours, the West Fargo ROTC earned $150. The program offered $75 for every 100 hours volunteered. Though many students from West Fargo High School also volunteered during the flood, there was no donation to the high school itself.

Overall, 31 participating organizations received a total of $7,700 in donations for 16,447 hours of volunteering. The top five organizations receiving funds were:

• Fargo Public Schools, 2,048 volunteers - $1,636.

• Salvation Army, 735 volunteers - $625.

• Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity, 569 volunteers - $475.

• United Way of Cass Clay, 561 volunteers - $475.

• Theta Chi Fraternity, 381 volunteers - $325.
