West Fargo Schools’ snow day pardoned

Email

The West Fargo School District will not have to make up a storm day after Gov. Jack Dalrymple excused it.

The district received notice from the governor’s office on May 6 that it would not have to make up the lost time from March 31 when school was canceled because of a snowstorm.

“It was determined that requiring us to make up the time would create undue hardship on our families, thus the day was forgiven,” said Heather Konschak, community relations coordinator for the district.

The last day of school for West Fargo Schools will be May 30.
