They meet on April 15 with former Fargo Superintendent David Flowers, currently the superintendent of Hutchinson (Kan.) Public Schools.

On April 19, they meet with Northern Cass (Hunter, N.D.) Superintendent Allen Burgad and Perham-Dent (Minn.) Superintendent Tamara Uselman.

They wrap up interviews on April 20 with West Fargo Assistant Superin-tendent Louise Dardis.

The four candidates were selected this week from a pool of 19 applicants.

After the board's interviews are completed this month, students, staff and community members who participated in February input meetings will then interview the finalists.

By early May, the board plans to make an offer to whoever will follow Superintendent Dana Diesel Wallace, who's leaving the district after four years due to "new opportunities."

The next top leader starts on July 1 and will earn a salary from $140,000 to $160,000.
