The West Fargo Soccer Club has been having an eventful summer.
Four teams advanced to the finals of the Wal-Mart Cup held June 15-17 in Blaine, Minn.
The U17 Girls United took the championship game with a 3-1 win over the Brainerd Blast. United finished with a 3-1 record on the tournament.
The U19 Boys Renegades also won the championship game over MTA 93S ELITE 19B1667 (Minn.) with a score of 1-0, and a record of four wins and no losses.
In addition, U18 Boys Hotspurs took second place in the U19 Boys Division with three wins and two losses, and the U15 Girls United team also took second place in the U15 Girls Division with two wins and two losses.
Ten teams were entered in the tournament including the U10 Girls Thunder, U11 Girls Flames and Strikers, U12 Boys Strikers, U14 Boys Lightning, U15 Girls United, U16 Boys Thunder, U17 Girls United, U18 Boys Hotspur and U19 Boys Renegades.

Tri-City Soccer tournament
The West Fargo Soccer Club also had four teams place at the Tri-City Soccer Tournament, held earlier this summer in Fargo.
The U12 Strikers, coached by Ryne Schaeffer and assistant coach Braden Schmid, edged out Aberdeen, S.D., by a half point to make it to the championship game against Tri-City Storm U12 White, beating the Tri-City Storm for the championship 4-1.
The U19 Renegades, coached by Danny Dougherty, took first in the U19 Boys Division with a record of two wins and a tie, and edged out the Forza S.C. 2-0 to win the championship.
Also, making it to the finals were the U18 Hotspur, coached by Ericka Freed, who took second place in the U18 Boys Division.
Ten teams were entered in the tournament, including the U10 Girls Thunder, U11 Girls Flames and Strikers, U12 Boys Strikers, U14 Boys Lightning, U15 Girls United, U16 Boys Thunder, U17 Girls United, U18 Boys Hotspur and U19 Boys Renegades.
