West Funeral Home to host Living Green seminar

West Funeral Home will be hosting a seminar on Living Green on Thursday, Sept. 10, from 1 to 5 p.m. The seminar will include presentations on Consumer Demand, Properly Disposing of Medications, Green Funerals, and Recycling.

Consumer Demand, presented by Hornbacher's Foods and Cass County Electric, will explore why there is a demand for organic, recyclable, and energy saving products. Properly Disposing of Medication, presented by White Drug Pharmacy, will discuss how to dispose of prescription and over the counter drugs safely. West Funeral Home will explain options now available for Green Funerals. Minnkota Recycling will present Recycling, explaining what can, or cannot be recycled.

The sessions will include a question and answer session, and an opportunity to sample organic foods and products. The seminar is free, and open to the public, however, reservations are required.
