In 2007, Western's West Fargo and Fargo locations contributed nearly $50,000 in charitable donations while individual employees volunteered nearly 2,100 hours of their free time to 43 different organizations.
Groups and organizations that Western employees offered their time and efforts to include The United Way, Minn-Kota Red Cross, Emergency Food Pantry, YMCA, Cass County Housing, Meals on Wheels, West Fargo and Fargo Chambers of Commerce, West Fargo Economic Advisory Committee, West Fargo Exchange Club, Fargo Optimist Club, Horace Lions, Women of Today, Heritage Club, Fargo VFW Auxiliary, FM Advertising Federation, Young Professionals Network, Mayville State Board of Advisors, Beta Sigma Phi Alpha Chapter, Beta Sigma Phi Intercity Council for Fargo Moorhead, NDSU Student Government, N.D. Association of Dance & Drill, Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion, Minnesota Deer Hunter's Association, West Fargo Packer Backers, West Fargo Schools, Junior Achievements, a variety of Fargo and West Fargo sports organizations, and numerous churches.
